Hello, I’m Sterling Batson – a photographer with over 10 years of experience. Originally from Trinidad & Tobago, I refined my skills in NYC before making the Big Island of Hawaii my home in 2018. Hawaii has been amazing; I absolutely love connecting with nature, being a father, and meeting incredible people to capture creative and memorable photos. I have a special affinity for shooting on film and analog cameras; they allow us to slow down and truly feel the shot, rather than simply snapping to capture it. My work encompasses both black & white and color images, primarily captured on the Mamiya RZ67 medium format camera.
